Our website forms, newsletter and cookies
This section was added in October 2026 and explains how the forms, newsletter and cookies work on this website.
Enquiry forms
When you send us a form on this website (the contact form, the enquiry form on our Book A Call page or the free Google Health Check form), we collect the details you enter. These can include your name, email address, WhatsApp number, website address, business name and your message.
We use these details to reply to your enquiry and, for the Google Health Check, to prepare your report. Your details are sent to us by email. They are not stored on the website.
Booking a call
Calls are booked through Calendly. When the booking calendar loads, Calendly may set its own cookies, and the details you enter when booking are held by Calendly under its own privacy policy.
Newsletter
If you tick the box on one of our forms, or subscribe on our blog, we add your name and email address to our newsletter list. The list is held for us by Mailchimp. We send special offers, coupons, invites to special events and regular updates from time to time.
You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any email we send.
Website chat
Our website chat is answered by Buzz, an AI assistant. The messages you type are sent to Anthropic, the company that provides the AI, so that it can reply. Please do not share passwords, card details or other sensitive information in the chat.
We do not keep a record of chats. The only exception is when you choose “Leave us a message”: the details you enter, your message and the conversation are then emailed to us so we can reply. If you tick the box on that form, we also add you to our newsletter list.
Spam protection
Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a form is being sent by a person. To do this, Cloudflare processes some technical information about your browser and connection.
Cookies and your choice
On your first visit we ask whether you are happy to accept cookies.
- If you choose “Yes, cookies please”, we load Google Tag Manager. Through it, cookies and similar technologies are set by Google Analytics, Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, Microsoft Clarity, Meta (Facebook), LinkedIn, TikTok, X, Pinterest and Outbrain. They show us how our website is used and how our advertising performs.
- If you choose “No thanks”, none of these are loaded.
One of these, Microsoft Clarity, records how visitors use our website, such as mouse movements, clicks and scrolling, so that we can see where pages are confusing and improve them. It only runs if you accept cookies.
Your choice is saved in your browser. You can change it at any time using the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page.
Counting visits without cookies
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits to our website. It does not use cookies, does not store anything in your browser and does not track or identify individual visitors. It shows us totals only, such as how many times a page was viewed and which website sent the visitor. Because it does not use cookies, it runs whichever cookie choice you make.
The Website Speed Challenge
When you take the Website Speed Challenge, the website address you enter is sent to Google PageSpeed Insights to be tested. We do not keep the address. To limit the number of tests each visitor can run in a day, we keep an anonymous code based on your internet address for about one day.
Where our website is hosted
Our website, and the emails our forms send, are provided by Cloudflare.
